The molecular structure of MBIT is similar to that of BIT and BBIT, and it has the common characteristics of not requiring metal ion stability,not containing halogens,and stable in a wide pH range,but at the same time,these three have different characteristics in many aspects.
From the perspective of antibacterial spectrum and bactericidal activity:
BIT is mainly a bactericide, BBIT is a fungicide, and MBIT has broad-spectrum activity against both fungi and bacteria. The microbiological test showed that the ability of MBIT to kill fungi was stronger than BIT, and the ability of killing bacteria was stronger than BBIT.
From the antibacterial effect:
1.MBIT is significantly better than BIT in targeting bacteria, especially pseudomonas. BBIT was better than BIT for mold.
2.The inhibitory effect of BBIT on mold is better than that of MBIT, while the inhibitory effect of MBIT on bacteria is better than that of BBIT.
